A very traditional type of tea ware and definitely not for those who are looking smooth, refined surfaces. This iron rich stoneware contains inclusions of feldspar which during firing, melt and ooze out of the clay in a really interesting way. The surface has a rough and tactile quality, but is sanded to remove any uncomfortable areas to hold or drink from. The interior is glazed with a lovely celadon.
It measures 3"t x 3"w and holds approx. 175ml at full capacity (to the rim)
