Great markings on this vessel. It's been saggar fired, which means that piece was fired in a sealed container with various materials which at a very hot temperature burned, volatilized and created gasses that were absorbed by the clay. This creates all kinds of interesting effects and colors on the work.
This type of work of porous and therefore should not be used to hold water. Treat it like you'd treat turned wood. It's perfect for holding a dried flower arrangement, or better yet a decorative piece of art all by itself. The pot itself measures approx. 4.5"t x 4"w,
