Shiboridashi Teapot (75ml.), iron-rich stoneware w/ Shino type glaze and iron decoration
This shib is from a series I did recently with modern shino type glaze and iron and white glaze brushwork of flowers. They are quite nice! The teapot has a rake type filter built into the gallery and wall of the pot which does a great job of catching very small leaves while allowing the tea to pour out.
Great little workhorse of a teapot here!
This pot at full capacity (without any leaf) pours approx. 75 ml
