Chawan, woodfired translucent porcelain w/ celadon and natural ash glazes
A nice translucent porcelain teabowl that feels great in the hand. It's thrown with a nice grolleg porcelain, glazed with a celadon and wood-fired. There's some reall nice rivulets of darker carbon trapping in the glaze (see detail photo) This porcelain absorbs light giving it an inner glow.
It measures approx. 2.75"t x 4.75"w
